About Kosher
Kosher, the Yiddish pronunciation of kosher, כָּשֵׁר, is that which complies with the precepts of the Hebrew כַּשְׁרוּת's kashrut and designates that which is "right" or "appropriate" to be consumed; From there they define the foods that are fit for the consumption of the Jewish community.
The Classification of Kosher Products

Dairy
Milk and its products (cheese, butter cream etc). These products cannot be mixed with meat.

Meat
Any animal fit for consumption according to kosher standards must be ruminants and have broken hooves. It is kosher beef, sheep, goat, and certain birds like chicken, turkey, duck and goose.

Parve or Neutral
It is named because they contain neither meat nor dairy ingredients. They are parve, fruits, grains and vegetables in their natural state, eggs and those fish that do not have scales or fins.
