Our roots trace back to the 1950s when our founder, Pieter Ploegmakers, began his remarkable journey in the food industry. Driven by a passion for quality and innovation, Pieter ventured to Australia in the 1960s to grow strawberries in Seymour (Brisbane), achieving international acclaim for his success.
Returning to The Netherlands at the end of the decade, Pieter joined the family farm, expanding its operations to include the cleaning, freezing, and selling of vegetables to leading European multinational companies. This marked the beginning of a legacy built on quality and trust.
